I apologise for not posting for such an age! To make up for it, here is a picture of the petits fours I made for Christmas.
The three types consist of:
Marzipan parcels: Plain sponge sandwiches with elderberry jelly, covered in lime butter cream and different shades of marzipan, and decorated with sugar pearls.
Mocha: Plain sponge covered in coffee-flavoured butter cream and decorated with assorted nuts.
Schwarzwälder Kirsch: Chocolate sponge sandwiches with plum-and-blueberry jam and halved cherries, with freshly whipped cream and a cherry on top 🙂
